Instruction for usage:
As a Roller Cleaner: Apply sufficient SOLVEX evenly across the roller
train to ensure that each roller is covered in SOLVEX. Allow the rollers to
cycle for at least 3 minutes. After 3 minutes apply a small amount of water
to the top inking roller. Continue to cycle the rollers for another 1 minute.
NOW APPLY THE WASH-UP BLADE. Continue to apply water as with a
normal wash-up of the inking rollers, until SOLVEX has been removed
from the rollers. To clean the ink duct roller and ink fountain apply SOLVEX
with a shop towel until it is worked into the ink, then remove with a clean
shop towel.
As a Roller Deglazer: Wash up the press in the normal manner, using a
general roller wash. Apply SOLVEX to the entire roller train, making sure
all rollers are coated. Cycle the rollers for about 5 minutes, then apply the
wash-up blade and rinse off with water.
As a Roller/Blanket Deep Cleanser: Remove rollers and blankets from
the press. Coat each roller/blanket with SOLVEX to a depth of 1-2 mm
using a shop towel or ink spatula. Leave to stand for several hours (up
to a maximum of 8 hours) If the time exceeds 8 hours SOLVEX will be
very difficult to remove. Wash the rollers/blanket under running water to
remove all residual SOLVEX and wipe dry with a dry shop towel.
