Recommendations for use:
For use on impression cylinders: Using a clean shop towel, apply
an even layer onto a clean, dry impression cylinder (back cylinder).
Allow paste to dry to a haze (app. 5 minutes), dust off with a clean
shop towel. It may be necessary to repeat the process on extremely
dull or pitted cylinders.
For use on cutter beds and joggers: Wipe all dust and build-up
from surface to be treated. Apply an even layer and allow paste
to dry to a haze (app. 5 minutes), dust off with a clean shop towel.
On the initial application once the old oxidation has been removed,
the cutter bed will be slick enough to slide paper over it. Using Ink
Repellent from time-to-time on the cutter beds will protect the
metal from oxidation and keep the bed surface slick.
