We have spent a considerable amount of time looking at the
components of various UV washes and found that in many
cases the formulations were identical, or extremely similar.
We also discovered that many companies claimed their washes
removed UV inks, when in fact they only removed certain colors.
Other washes we looked at removed all the UV colors well, but
caused damage to rollers and blankets in a relatively short period
of time.
Using all the information, we developed a dedicated wash for all
UV inks, but at the same time avoided most of the aggressiveness
towards rollers and blankets.
Advantages:
- Removes all colors of UV ink
- Removes UV inks quickly
- Deep cleans rollers and blankets quickly
- Not as detrimental to rollers and blankets as many washes
Recommendations for use:
As a roller wash: Apply to the top roller and allow it to work in.
Engage wash up blade and continue to apply in small amounts
until the rollers are clean.
As as blanket wash: Pour a liberal amount onto a shop towel,
wipe of the entire blanket with a side-to-side motion.
